Campeonato del Pensacola Soccer Club y reinicio
La temporada de verano llegó a su fin con un partido dramático entre Los Merengues vs Honduras FC. Como favoritos Los Merengues eran los campeones defensores y no lograron repetir y mantener su condición de campeones.
El juego comenzó con Honduras adelantándose en el tablero con un gol tempranero. Los Merengues igualaron el marcador y lideraron en el marcador 2-1 durante la mayor parte de la segunda mitad. Cerrando el final del tiempo reglamentario, Honduras anotó poniendo el juego 2-2 y mandando el partido final a la prórroga.
Durante un dramático 2-2 en el tiempo, los equipos no pudieron marcar y finalmente enviaron la final a definirse a través de los tiros penales. Los tiros penales son suerte y habilidad combinadas, Los Merengues no tuvieron tanta suerte y fallaron dos de sus cinco tiros penales. Honduras FC derrotó a Los merengues con un 4-3 en los penales.
¡Felicidades Honduras FC! Ahora es el momento de defender su título de campeones cuando comience la nueva temporada el 17 de julio.
Pensacola Soccer Club Championship and restart
The summer season came to an end with a dramatic game between Los Merengues vs Honduras FC. The favorite Merengues were the defending champs and fail to repeat and keep their champions status.
The game started with Honduras going ahead on the board with an early goal. Los Merengues made the score even and were leading in the score board 2-1 during most of the second half. Close the end of regulation time, Honduras scored making it a 2-2 game and sending the final match to over time.
During a dramatic 2-2 over time, the teams were not able to score and eventually send the final to be defined via penalty kicks. Penalty kicks are luck and skills combined, merengues were not so lucky and missed two of their five penalty kicks. Honduras FC defeated Los merengues with a 4-3 during the Penalty kicks.
Congratulations Honduras FC! It’s now time to defend your champions title when the new season starts on July 17.
