La segunda edición de la carrera nocturna “Light Up the Night” regresa a Pensacola para concienciar y recaudar fondos para acabar con la trata de personas
PENSACOLA, Florida – El Pensacola Dream Center se enorgullece de anunciar el regreso de su segunda carrera anual “Light Up the Night” el viernes 30 de enero de 2026, un evento emocionante para toda la familia, diseñado para visibilizar la lucha contra la trata de personas.
Esta carrera nocturna reúne a la comunidad para correr, caminar y brillar por una buena causa, generando conciencia y recaudando fondos esenciales para ayudar a erradicar la trata de personas a nivel local y global. Abierto a todas las edades, el evento promete una noche llena de diversión con un propósito importante.
“La trata de personas se nutre del secretismo, pero cuando una comunidad se une, la luz vence a la oscuridad,” declararon representantes del Dream Center. “La carrera nocturna es nuestra forma de decir que no vamos a mirar hacia otro lado.”
La carrera de 5 km y la caminata de 1,6 km comenzarán a las 17:30 y se llevarán a cabo en la pintoresca zona de East Hill, con la salida y la meta ubicadas en Bayview Park. Los participantes disfrutarán de un ambiente vibrante con actividades luminosas para toda la familia.
Cada participante recibirá una bolsa de regalos con pulseras luminosas, y los asistentes podrán visitar la estación de pintura fluorescente y el área de pintacaras para darle un toque especial a la noche. Desde atuendos y cochecitos luminosos hasta correas para perros que brillan en la oscuridad, se fomenta la creatividad para que la comunidad ilumine la noche juntos.
Las inscripciones ya están abiertas. Se anima a los participantes a inscribirse con anticipación, invitar a amigos y familiares y comenzar a planificar su atuendo luminoso.
Second Annual “Light Up the Night” Glow Run Returns to Pensacola to Raise Awareness and Funds to End Human Trafficking
PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Pensacola Dream Center is proud to announce the return of its second annual “Light Up the Night” Glow Run on Friday, January 30, 2026, an exciting, family-friendly event designed to shine a light on the fight against human trafficking.
This evening glow run brings the community together to run, walk, and glow for a cause, raising both awareness and critical funds to help end human trafficking locally and beyond. Open to all ages, the event promises a fun-filled night with a powerful purpose.
“Human trafficking thrives in secrecy, but when a community comes together, light overcomes darkness,” said a representative from the Dream Center. “The Glow Run is our way of saying we will not look away.”
The 5K run and 1-mile walk will begin at 5:30 p.m. and take place in the scenic East Hill area, with both the start and finish line located at Bayview Park. Participants can expect a vibrant atmosphere featuring glow-themed fun for the whole family.
Each participant will receive a swag bag with glow bracelets, and attendees are invited to stop by the glow paint station and face painting area to add extra flair to their night. From glow outfits and strollers to glow dog leashes, creativity is encouraged as the community lights up the night together.
Registration is now open. Participants are encouraged to sign up early, invite friends and family, and start planning their glow gear.
