Se completaron las reparaciones en la instalación de reciclaje de materiales de ECUA y se reabrieron el 11 de octubre en las ciudades, condados y transportistas comerciales que utilizan las instalaciones para procesar materiales reciclables. ECUA ha comenzado a operar para eliminar los materiales reciclables almacenados.
La instalación de reciclaje aún está esperando la entrega del imán utilizado en el área de clasificación de metales, que está pendiente y se espera que se entregue en diciembre. ECUA dice que clasificarán los artículos metálicos manualmente hasta que se entregue e instale este equipo.
Recycling Operations at ECUA Facility to Resume Oct. 11
Repairs on the ECUA Materials Recycling Facility have been completed, and reopened on October 11 to the cities, counties and commercial haulers that use to facility to process recyclables. ECUA has begun operating to clear out the stockpiled recyclables.
The recycling facility is still awaiting delivery of the magnet used in the metal sorting area, which is on backorder and expected to be delivered in December. ECUA says they will sort metal items manually until this equipment is delivered and installed.
