Tiroteo en Ractrack Road bajo investigación
FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. – La Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Okaloosa está investigando un tiroteo en el estacionamiento de una tienda de conveniencia en Racetrack Road anoche.
Los agentes fueron llamados a la estación de servicio Parade Express en 117 Racetrack Road alrededor de las 6:15 de la noche del martes después de que los testigos escucharon varios disparos.
La víctima, una mujer de 29 años, fue encontrada en la calle con una herida de bala en la pierna que no pone en peligro su vida. Fue llevada a un hospital local para recibir tratamiento.
Los testigos dicen que un hombre afroamericano que llevaba una chaqueta con capucha azul y una máscara facial caminó hacia el automóvil de la mujer, el cual estaba estacionado en el lado norte del estacionamiento hacia el este y comenzó a disparar un arma. Luego salió corriendo de la escena.
Aún no se conoce el motivo del tiroteo, pero se cree que los dos están familiarizados.

Shooting on Ractrack Road under investigation
FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. – The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting in a parking lot of a convenience store on Racetrack Road last evening.
Deputies were called to the Parade Express Gas Station at 117 Racetrack Road around 6:15 Tuesday night after witnesses heard several shots fired.
The 29-year old female victim was found down the street with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Witnesses say a black male wearing a blue hooded jacket and face mask walked towards the woman’s car as it was parked in the north side of the parking lot facing east and began to fire a weapon. He then ran from the scene.
The motive for the shooting is not yet known but the two are believed to be acquainted.
