Las solicitudes para la política de inmigración de EE. UU. Acción diferida para los llegados en la infancia, mejor conocida como DACA, están siendo aceptadas una vez más. Para el mes de enero, la oficina legal de Ramírez Hormaza está ofreciendo consultas gratuitas por teléfono para las personas interesadas en postularse. La consulta constará de evaluaciones de calificaciones para el programa.

Porque DACA está diseñado para beneficiar a los inmigrantes que llegaron a los Estados Unidos cuando eran niños. Los requisitos para DACA son los siguientes:

  • Debe haber llegado a los EE. UU. antes de los 16 años;
  • Debe haber residido en los EE. UU. continuamente desde el 15 de junio de 2007;
  • No debe tener actualmente un estatus migratorio legal;
  • Estuvieron presentes en los EE. UU. el 15 de junio de 2012;
  • Tenían menos de 31 años el 15 de junio de 2012;
  • Debe estar actualmente en la escuela, haberse graduado u obtenido un certificado GED, o haber sido dado de baja honorablemente del ejército;
  • No debe haber sido condenado por un delito mayor, un delito menor significativo o tres o más delitos menores, y no representa una amenaza para la seguridad nacional o la seguridad pública.

DACA Reopens

Applications for the U.S. immigration policy Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, better known as DACA, are being accepted once again. For the month of January, the law office of Ramirez Hormaza is offering free consultation by phone for people interest in applying. In the consultation will consist of evaluations for qualifications for the program.

Because DACA is designed to benefit immigrants who came to the United States as children. The requirements for DACA are as follows:

  • Must have arrived in the U.S. before age 16;
  • Must have resided in the U.S. continuously since June 15, 2007;
  • Must not currently have legal immigration status;
  • Were present in the U.S. on June 15, 2012;
  • Were under the age of 31 on June 15, 2012;
  • Must be currently in school, have graduated or obtained a GED certificate, or were honorably discharged from the military;
  • Must not have been convicted of a felony, significant misdemeanor, or three or more misdemeanors, and do not otherwise pose a threat to national security or public safety.
