Hombre arrestado luego de presuntamente violar a una mujer sosteniéndola con la punta de un cuchillo
PENSACOLA, Fla.: Un hombre de Pensacola presuntamente sostuvo a su ex novia con la punta de un cuchillo el domingo mientras la violaba repetidamente.
José Hernández, de 32 años, fue arrestado el domingo y acusado de agresión sexual, secuestro, encarcelamiento falso, hurto y obstrucción de la justicia.
Fue ingresado a la cárcel del condado de Escambia sin fianza, y los registros del condado indicaron que desde el lunes permanece bajo custodia con una orden de detención de la oficina de Inmigración y Aduanas de EE. UU..
Según un informe de arresto, ni Hernández ni la denunciante hablaban inglés. La hija de la denunciante tuvo que traducir para su madre, y fue ella quien transmitió a los investigadores de la oficina del Sheriff del condado de Escambia lo que sucedió.
La hija dijo a los investigadores que su madre la despertó alrededor de las 9 a.m. del domingo para decirle que había sido agredida sexualmente.
La madre recientemente rompió con Hernández debido a su uso de narcóticos y él tomó su teléfono, dijo la hija.
La madrugada del domingo, regresó a la residencia de Hernández para recuperar su teléfono. Llegó a su casa alrededor de las 4 a.m., y Hernández sostuvo un cuchillo contra la garganta de la mujer, no le permitió irse y la violó repetidamente, según el informe.
El asalto duró más de cuatro horas antes de que la mujer pudiera irse y obtener acceso a un teléfono para contactar a las autoridades.
Los agentes de la ECSO condujeron el domingo a la residencia de Hernández, su compañero de cuarto les dejó entrar y encontraron a Hernández dormido en una habitación trasera usando solo ropa interior y agarrando un cuchillo plateado y dorado, según el informe.
La barrera del idioma impidió que Hernández respondiera las preguntas de los investigadores, y fue arrestado.
Man arrested after allegedly raping woman at knifepoint
PENSACOLA, Fla.: A Pensacola man allegedly held his ex-girlfriend at knifepoint Sunday while repeatedly raping her.
Jose Hernandez, 32, was arrested Sunday and charged with sexual assault, kidnap-false imprisonment, larceny and obstructing justice.
He was booked into the Escambia County Jail without bond, and county records indicated that he remained in custody with a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold as of Monday.
According to an arrest report, neither Hernandez nor his accuser spoke English. The accuser’s daughter had to translate for her mother, and it was the accuser’s daughter who relayed to Escambia County Sheriff’s Office investigators what happened.
The daughter told investigators that her mother woke her up around 9 a.m. Sunday to tell her she had been sexually assaulted.
The mother recently broke up with Hernandez because of his narcotic use and he took her phone, the daughter said.
Early Sunday morning, she went back over to Hernandez’s residence to retrieve her phone. She arrived at his home around 4 a.m., and Hernandez held a knife to the woman’s throat, would not allow her to leave and repeatedly raped her, the report stated.
The assault lasted for over four hours before the woman could leave or gain access to a phone to contact authorities.
ECSO deputies drove to Hernandez’s residence Sunday, were let inside by his roommate and found Hernandez asleep in a back room wearing only underwear and clutching a tan and silver knife, the report stated.
A language barrier prevented Hernandez from answering investigators’ questions, and he was arrested.
