Corte de cinta de ‘Lope the Loop’ Broad Street, carrera/caminata divertida 29 de julio
MOBILE, Ala. – La ciudad de Mobile y varios socios comunitarios organizarán un evento único en su tipo a fines de este mes para celebrar el progreso significativo en el proyecto de revitalización de Broad Street.
Lope the Loop se llevará a cabo el sábado 29 de julio y comenzará con un corte de cinta para la reapertura de Broad Street en algunas de las intersecciones más grandes del centro de Mobile. También contará con una carrera/caminata divertida de 3.5 millas alrededor de Hank Aaron Loop, seguida de una celebración comunitaria en The Ice Box.
El evento del 29 de julio está abierto a todos, y la ruta de la carrera divertida está diseñada para acomodar a caminantes, corredores, ciclistas, cochecitos, perros y participantes en sillas de ruedas. El registro para la carrera comenzará a las 6 a. m. en el Ice Box, con el corte de cinta y la carrera divertida aproximadamente a las 7:30 a. m. ‘Lope the Loop’ Broad Street ribbon cutting, fun run/walk July 29
MOBILE, Ala. – The City of Mobile and several community partners are hosting a first-of-its-kind event later this month to celebrate significant progress on the Broad Street Revitalization project.
Lope the Loop will be held on Saturday, July 29, and will start with a ribbon cutting for the reopening of Broad Street at some of the larger intersections in downtown Mobile. It will also feature a 3.5-mile fun run/walk around the Hank Aaron Loop, followed by a community celebration at The Ice Box.
The July 29 event is open to everyone, and the fun run route is designed to accommodate walkers, runners, cyclists, strollers, dogs, and participants in wheelchairs. The check-in for the race will begin at 6 a.m. at the Ice Box, with the ribbon cutting and fun run at approximately 7:30 a.m. Lope the Loop is supported by Loper Law LLC, Hop Hounds Brew Pub and Dog Park and The Ice Box.
