Mobile Parks and Recreation presenta películas en el parque este otoño
MOBILE, Ala. — El Departamento de Parques y Recreación de la Ciudad de Mobile (MPRD) lanzará su serie Movies in the Park Otoño 2022 el próximo mes y la programación de películas de esta temporada es una de las mejores hasta ahora. En colaboración con socios de la comunidad, MPRD traerá ocho películas educativas, familiares e inspiradoras a ocho parques en todo Mobile los jueves por la noche este otoño.
“Los eventos de Movies in the Park que hemos realizado en el pasado han sido muy divertidos para padres e hijos,” dijo el alcalde Sandy Stimpson. “Es un evento gratuito que trae a la comunidad a nuestros parques para que se socialicen, conozcan a sus vecinos y disfruten de una excelente selección de películas nuevas y clásicas sin costo alguno.”
La serie Movies in the Park Fall 2022 comenzará el jueves 1 de septiembre con The Mitchells vs The Machines en Langan Park y finalizará el jueves el 20 de octubre con la proyección de The Princess and the Frog de Disney en Detonti Square Park. Todos los eventos comienzan a las 6 p.m. y las películas comenzarán al anochecer.

Mobile Parks and Recreation hosting Movies in the Park this Fall
MOBILE, Ala. — The City of Mobile Parks and Recreation Department (MPRD) is kicking off its Movies in the Park Fall 2022 series next month, and this season’s lineup of films is one of the best yet. Working with community partners, MPRD is bringing eight educational, family-friendly and inspiring films to eight parks throughout Mobile on Thursday evenings this Fall.
“The Movies in the Park events we’ve done in the past have been really fun for parents and children,” Mayor Sandy Stimpson said. “It’s a free event that brings the community into our parks to socialize, meet their neighbors and enjoy an excellent selection of new and classic films at no cost.”
The Movies in the Park Fall 2022 series will kick off on Thursday, September 1, with The Mitchells vs The Machines in Langan Park and will end on Thursday, October 20, with a screening of Disney’s The Princess and the Frog in Detonti Square Park. All events start at 6 p.m. and the movies will begin at dark.
