SEGURIDAD AL USO DE LA MOTOSIERRA
- Familiarizarse con los procedimientos operativos seguros recomendados antes de intentar trabajar con una motosierra.
- Esegurese de estar en óptimas condiciones físicas y mentales cuando opere maquinaria peligrosa. Los medicamentos y el alcohol pueden hacer que usted sea un peligro para usted y para otros cuando trabaje con motosierras.
- Equípese con ropa y equipo de protección que incluye gafas de seguridad, protección auditiva, zapatoscon punta de acero, casco, guantes y ropa ajustada. Nunca haga cortes con una sierra entre sus piernas; Siempre corte con la sierra al exterior de sus piernas.
- No se pare en un tronco y sierrar entre sus pies.

CHAIN SAW SAFETY
- Become familiar with recommended safe operational procedures before attempting to work with a chain saw.
- Be sure that you are in top physical and mental condition when operating dangerous machinery. Medications and alcohol can cause you to be a hazard to yourself and others when working with chains saws.
- Equip yourself with protective clothing and equipment including safety goggles, hearing protection, steel-toed shoes, hardhat, gloves, and close-fitting clothing.
- Never make cuts with a saw between your legs; always cut with the saw to the outside of your legs.
- Do not stand on a log and saw between your feet.
- Always stand to one side of the limb you are cutting; never straddle it.
- Always keep in mind where the chain will go if it breaks; never position yourself or other people in line with the chain.
- Keep the chain out of the dirt; debris will fly.
