McGregor Ave. reabrió de Springhill Ave. hasta Old Shell Road
MOBLIE, Alabama — Después de varios meses de construcción, McGregor Ave. ha oficialmente reabierto al tráfico desde Springhill Ave. hasta Old Shell Road.
Como parte del Proyecto N. McGregor de la ciudad de Mobile, se instalaron nuevas aceras, iluminación, bordillos y canaletas, y se repavimentó la carretera. A las 4 pm. hoy, McGregor Ave. desde la rotonda de Museum Drive hasta Old Shell Road reabrió oficialmente al tráfico varios meses antes de lo previsto.
Los automovilistas verán algunos cierres temporales de carriles en las próximas semanas a medida que los contratistas realicen mejoras y reparaciones finales. Sin embargo, una vez finalizada gran parte del trabajo, la carretera permanecerá abierta al tráfico en el futuro.
McGregor Ave. reopened from Springhill Ave. to Old Shell Road
MOBLIE, Ala. — After several months of construction, McGregor Ave. has officially reopened to traffic from Springhill Ave. to Old Shell Road.
As part of the City of Mobile’s N. McGregor Project, new sidewalks, lighting, curbs and gutters have been installed, and the road has been resurfaced. At 4 p.m. today, McGregor Ave. from the roundabout at Museum Drive to Old Shell Road officially reopened to traffic several months ahead of schedule.
Motorists will see some temporary lane closures in the coming weeks as contractors make final improvements and repairs. However, with much of the work now completed, the roadway will remain open to traffic moving forward.
