Taco Rock se abrirá en Gulf Breeze
GULF BREEZE, Fla.—Desde 1997, Taco Rock ha sido una experiencia que hay que probar en la Costa del Golfo. Conocida por su auténtica comida mexicana y decoración de recuerdos de rock-and-roll, la taqueria de propiedad y operación familiar se ha convertido en un punto de referencia en Pensacola.
La popular restaurante de taco dine-in/take-out/drive-thru se ha pasado a la siguiente generación. El dueño original, Oscar Ramírez, ha enseñado todo sobre el manejo de la taquería a sus hijas, Odette y Byanka, que están felices de anunciar la apertura de Taco Rock en Gulf Breeze.
“Seguiremos teniendo todos los favoritos como burritos, tortas y tacos,” dijo Byanka, “Pero también ofreceremos sopa de pollo como hicimos en nuestra tienda de Cantonment. La gente realmente ama nuestra sopa.”
La nueva ubicación también ofrecen cerveza y productos de vino, incluyendo margaritas y daiquiris.
Byanka y su marido Hector esperan mantener el negocio en la familia. Su hijo de dieciséis años, Hector, Jr., ya está expresando interés en asumir el negocio algún día.
“Estoy emocionado de que algún día me convierta en propietario de un negocio y administre el negocio de mi familia,” dijo Héctor, Jr.
Cuando se le preguntó si pensaba que iba a cambiar algo, Hector, Jr. dijo que podría tratar de franquiciar el restaurante.
Taco Rock en Gulf Breeze se encuentra en el 911 Gulf Breeze Pkwy (Hwy 98), Unit B en Gulf Breeze, justo antes de la salida este para ir a Pensacola Beach. Un gran evento de apertura está siendo planeado antes de la aperture para el negocio el 1ro de junio. Taco Rock to open in Gulf Breeze
GULF BREEZE, Fla.—Since 1997, Taco Rock has been a must-try experience in the Gulf Coast. Known for its authentic Mexican food and rock-and-roll memorabilia décor, the family-owned and operated taqueria has become a Pensacola landmark.
The popular dine-in/take-out/drive-thru taco shop has been passed on to the next generation. The original owner, Oscar Ramirez has taught everything about running the taqueria to his daughters, Odette and Byanka, who are happy to announce the opening of Taco Rock in Gulf Breeze.
“We’ll still have all of the favorites like burritos, tortas and tacos,” Byanka said, “But we’ll also offer chicken soup like we did at our Cantonment store. People really love our soup.”
The new location will also offer beer and wine products including margaritas and daiquiris.
Byanka and husband Hector expect to keep the business in the family. Their sixteen-year-old son, Hector, Jr., is already expressing interest in taking over the business someday.
“I am excited that one day I will become a business owner and run my family’s business,” Hector, Jr. said.
When asked about whether he thinks that he would change anything, Hector, Jr. said that he might try to franchise the restaurant.
Taco Rock in Gulf Breeze is located at 911 Gulf Breeze Pkwy (Hwy 98), Unit B in Gulf Breeze, just before the eastbound exit to Pensacola Beach. A grand opening event is being planned prior to opening for business on June 1.
