PENSACOLA, Fla.—Debido al aumento de la asistencia, los espectáculos restantes del 2016 Hill-Kelly Drive-In Movie Series en el Community Maritime Park se llevará a cabo en el Hunter Amphitheater en lugar del campo de exposiciones. Justin Paul, Gerente del Programa para el Community Maritime Park señaló “Cuando el evento comenzó hace unos años, el concepto drive-in en el campo de exposiciones funcionó bastante bien. Como la asistencia continúa creciendo la necesidad de ampliar el asiento y retirar los vehículos del área de visualización para garantizar la seguridad se ha convertido en necesario.” Las películas también se muestraron en el anfiteatro en el año 2015 debido a la construcción en el parque que ocupaba la visualización original/estacionamiento zona. “Creemos que esta medida permitirá a todos los asistentes a tener una mejor visión de la pantalla de cine y una experiencia más agradable en general.” Los eventos restantes se llevarán a cabo el 8 de julio, 5 de agosto y el 2 de septiembre. Habrá césped para sentarse sólo para estos eventos, así que asegúrese de traer sus mantas y sillas para extenderse en el césped del anfiteatro y ver la película bajo las estrellas. Las películas comenzarán a las 8:15 p.m. y el estacionamiento cerca del estadio comenzará a las 6 p.m. Las concesiones estarán disponibles pero las cestas de picnic siempre son bienvenidas. No mascotas o envases de vidrio por favor.
Justin Paul, Program Manager for the Community Maritime Park stated “When the event started a few years ago, the drive-in concept in the exhibition field worked quite well. As attendance continues to grow the need to expand the seating and remove vehicles from the viewing area to ensure safety has become necessary.” The movies were also shown at the amphitheater in 2015 due to construction in the park that took up the original viewing/parking area. “We feel this move will allow everyone attending to have a better view of the movie screen and an overall more enjoyable experience.” The remaining events will be held July 8, August 5 and September 2. There will be grass seating only for these events, so be sure to bring your blankets and chairs to spread out on the amphitheater lawn and watch the movie underneath the stars. The movies will begin at 8:15 p.m. and parking near the stadium begins at 6 p.m. Concessions will be available but picnic baskets are always welcome. No pets or glass containers please.
