Mobile conmemora el Mes de la Herencia Inmigrante
MOBILE, Ala.—La Comisión del Condado de Mobile conmemoró el Mes de la Herencia Inmigrante presentando una resolución a Frank Barragán de Coastal Coalition of Immigrant Justice.
La resolución decía, “Generaciones de inmigrantes legales de todos los rincones del mundo han construido la economía de nuestro país y ayudado a formar el carácter de nuestra nación.”
También reconoció: “Los inmigrantes han sido líderes incansables no solo en la obtención de sus propios derechos y el acceso a la igualdad de oportunidades, sino también en la campaña por una sociedad más justa y justa para todos los estadounidenses.”
Mobile commemorates Immigrant Heritage Month.
MOBILE, Ala.—The Mobile County Commission commemorated the Immigrant Heritage Month by presenting a resolution to Frank Barragan of the Coastal Coalition of Immigrant Justice.
The resolution read, “Generations of legal immigrants from every corner of the globe have built our country’s economy and helped form the character of our nation.”
It also acknowledged: “Immigrants have been tireless leaders not only in securing their own rights and accessing equal opportunity, but also campaigning for fairer and more just society for all Americans.”
