La comunidad se une para ayudar a una familia en duelo

FOLEY, Ala. – La gente en la Costa del Golfo se está reuniendo en torno a una familia en Foley esta semana. Sintia Sorianos perdió su batalla contra el cáncer de ovario el 2 de diciembre. Tenía 32 años.

Amigos de la familia y otros miembros de la comunidad están colaborando para ayudar a su esposo, Javier, a cubrir los gastos del funeral y ayudar a sus seis hijos durante la temporada navideña. Los niños incluyen cuatro niñas de 13, 11, 6 y 22 meses y dos niños de 16 y 9 años.

“Ella era Cristiana. Era una mujer trabajadora, luchadora,” dijo Javier. “Era buena madre, pero el cancer se le regó muy rápido.”

Se publica un sorteo para un televisor de 32 pulgadas en la página de Facebook de Suyapa Valle. Se pueden hacer donaciones por $15 por entrada contactando a Valle a través de su página de Facebook. Un pastel de la pastelería de Vivana García, de Foley, Ala., también se sorteará en la página de Valle a partir del 5 de diciembre.

“Realmente la admiro. Ella era una persona trabajadora. Yo estaba pasando por tiempos difíciles, y ella me dio un trabajo y ahora estoy en la posición que he logrado gracias a ella,” dijo Valle. Ella no era una persona envidiosa. Ella era muy feliz. Ella era una buena madre, te lo aseguro. Ella cuidaba mucho a [sus hijos].”

FOLEY, Ala. – People in the Gulf Coast are rallying around a family in Foley this week. Sintia Sorianos lost her battle with ovarian cancer on December 2. She was 32.

Friends of the family and others in the community are pitching in to help her husband Javier cover funeral expenses and help support their six children through the holiday season. The children include four girls ages 13, 11, 6 and 22 months and two boys ages 16 and 9.

“She was a Christian. She was a working woman, a fighter,” Javier said. “She was a good mother, but the cancer spread very quickly.”

A raffle for a 32” TV is posted on the Facebook page of Suyepa Valle. Donations for $15 per entry can be made by contacting Valle via her Facebook page. A cake by cakemaker, Vivana Garcia of Foley, Ala. will also be raffled on Valle’s page beginning Dec. 5.

“I really admire her. She was a hard-working person. I was going through hard times, she gave me a job and now I’m in the position that I am now thanks to her,” said Valle. She wasn’t an envious person. She was happy. She was a Good mother, I asure you. She cared for [her children] very much.”
