Hombre de Florosa acusado de negligencia infantil
FLOROSA, Fla. – Un conductor en la autopista 98 en Florosa el viernes por la noche vio a un niño de dos años usando un pañal caminando solo por la autopista 98 alrededor de las 11:30 p.m.
Un ayudante de la Oficina del Sheriff del condado de Okaloosa familiarizado con el vecindario fue a una casa donde sabía que había niños pequeños y notó que se abría una puerta de garaje y una puerta interior.
Un hombre adentro dijo que había acostado al niño y estaba revisando correos electrónicos y no se dio cuenta de que el niño se había ido. También señaló que era la segunda vez en los últimos tres días que había sucedido. La primera vez que dijo que encontró al niño en un estacionamiento de un lavado de autos cercano.
Los oficiales notaron que el hombre no había tomado precauciones adicionales desde el primer incidente para evitar que el niño escapara, y también había dejado la puerta del garaje abierta.
El hombre de 43 años fue acusado de un cargo de negligencia infantil.
Florosa man charged with child Neglect
FLOROSA, Fla. – A driver on Highway 98 in Florosa Friday night spotted a two year old child wearing a diaper walking across Highway 98 alone around 11:30 p.m.
An Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputy familiar with the neighborhood went to a home where he knew there were young children and noticed a garage door and interior door open.
A man inside said he had put the toddler in bed and was checking emails and didn’t realize the boy had left. He also noted it was the second time in the past three days it had happened. The first time he said he found the child in a parking lot of a nearby car wash.
Deputies noted the man had not taken any extra precautions since the first incident to prevent the toddler escaping, and had also left the garage door open.
The 43-year old man was charged with one count of child neglect.
