Festival Latino de Mobile: 11 de octubre
MOBILE, Ala. – Mobile se prepara para la quinta edición anual del Festival Latino de Mobile, que se celebrará el sábado 11 de octubre de 14:00 a 21:00 h en el Parque Mardi Gras del centro de Mobile. La entrada a este evento familiar es gratuita. El evento, que durará todo el día, incluye auténtica gastronomía, artesanías artesanales, cautivadoras presentaciones culturales, bailes folclóricos y música latina en vivo.
El evento busca ser un alegre recordatorio de la belleza de la diversidad cultural y el poder de la comunidad.
Este año, se invita a jóvenes de entre 16 y 26 años de Mobile y del condado de Baldwin a ser el centro de atención y compartir su herencia. Se les anima a vestir la vestimenta tradicional de su país en el escenario durante el festival. El ganador recibirá un premio en efectivo de 100 $ y aparecerá en todas las redes sociales de HABAGC.

Mobile Latin Fest: October 11
Mobile is gearing up for the fifth annual Mobile Latin Fest, Saturday, October 11 from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Mardi Gras Park in downtown Mobile. Admission to the family-friendly event is free. The day-long event includes with authentic cuisine, handcrafted artisan goods, and captivating cultural performances, folkloric dances and live Latin music.
The event is intended to serve as a joyful reminder of the beauty of cultural diversity and the power of community.
This year, young women aged 16–26 from Mobile and Baldwin County are invited to step into the spotlight and share their heritage. They are encouraged to wear your country’s traditional attire on stage during the festival. The winner of this showcase will receive a $100 cash prize and be featured across all HABAGC social media channels.
