El condado de Santa Rosa instala señalización educativa en el Navarre Beach Marine Park
NAVARRE BEACH, Fla. – El condado de Santa Rosa ha colocado una nueva señalización educativa en el Navarre Beach Marine Park Gulf Side Sea Oat Circle que representa la ubicación del arrecife de esnóquel en el lado del golfo, la fauna marina local y los recursos del hábitat. Además, se ha agregado un visor binocular sin monedas al mirador de observación de aves, con señalización educativa en las aves playeras locales que anidan. El proyecto fue financiado por una subvención de $10,000 del Florida Department of Environmental Protection Coastal Partnership Initiative Grant Program con una suma de $10,000 del Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Office. El énfasis del proyecto es inspirar la acción comunitaria y promover la protección y el manejo efectivo de los recursos naturales en el Santa Rosa County Navarre Beach Marine Park.
Santa Rosa County installs educational signage at Navarre Beach Marine Park
NAVARRE BEACH, Fla. – Santa Rosa County has placed new educational signage at the Navarre Beach Marine Park Gulf Side Sea Oat Circle pavilion complex depicting the gulf side snorkel reef’s location, local marine wildlife and habitat resources. In addition, a non-coin operated binocular viewer has been added to the a bird observation overlook, with educational signage on local nesting shorebirds. The project was funded by a $10,000 grant from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Coastal Partnership Initiative Grant Program with a match of $10,000 from the Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Office. The emphasis of the project is to inspire community action and promote protection and effective management of the natural resources at the Santa Rosa County Navarre Beach Marine Park.
