Mobile City council sworn in during inauguration ceremony
MOBILE, Ala. — The City of Mobile will hosted an inauguration ceremony for incoming Mayor Spiro Cheriogotis and members of the Mobile City Council on Monday, Nov. 3, in the auditorium at Government Plaza.
The ceremony marked the official transition in leadership for the City of Mobile and the start of new terms for the City Council members re-elected to serve their constituents. The program included the official swearing-in ceremony, followed by remarks from the city’s newly elected officials: Mayor Cheriogotis, District 1 Councilman Cory Penn, District 2 Councilwoman Samantha Ingram, District 3 Councilman C.J. Small, District 4 Councilman Ben Reynolds, District 5 Councilman Beau Fleming, District 6 Councilman Josh Woods, and District 7 Councilwoman Gina Gregory.
