DJ producirá y lanzará álbum
FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla.—La mayoría de la gente lo conoce como un DJ y promotor de eventos, pero DJ Lecz se está embarcando en una aventura que podría llamar la atención sobre la música urbana latina que emite desde la Costa del Golfo.
El pasado fin de semana, Lecz viajó al sur de la Florida con artistas locales para filmar un video para la pista del título de su álbum. “El Intro al Inicio” es el nombre de lo que Lecz llama su video trailer para su álbum debut, “El Inicio,” que presenta una variedad de artistas invitados. Rickyto, Rudo, Samurai, J Mago, Shaiko, Zul2 (Zul Dos) Baby D y Jay el Rebelde son realmente una colaboración diversa que Lecz reunió en Alabama, Orlando, Fort Walton Beach, Pensacola, Nueva York y Puerto Rico.
La música y el cine, dice, siempre han sido su pasión. Al crecer en el Bronx, Lecz estuvo expuesto a producir entretenimiento. Ahora quiere ir más allá de mezclar música y promocionar eventos para producir música y está comenzando con artistas más cercanos a él.
La música para el avance del video es igualmente diversa por diseño.
“Los elegí específicamente porque cada uno trajo un estilo diferente a ‘El Intro”, dijo Lecz. “Quería crear una pequeña competencia amistosa, pero respaldandonos unos a otros.”
Lecz dice que planea centrarse en la música de Rickyto y J Mago en los temas restantes del álbum con la intención de ayudar a pulir sus habilidades. El álbum consistirá principalmente en reggaetón y música trap en español, pero con un tono algo más suave que “El Inicio.”
El video “El Intro” estará disponible en YouTube el 29 de octubre, y la canción en Sound Cloud y Spotify bajo el nombre de DJ Lecz. El álbum está programado para lanzarse en iTunes en marzo del 2018 por 99 centavos con singles lanzados mensualmente antes de su lanzamiento.
Jay el Rebelde y Rickyto actuarán en el Festival Latino en Pensacola el 5 de noviembre como invitados al evento anual. La posibilidad de un desempeño grupal de esta empresa aún se está discutiendo.
DJ to Produce and Release Album
FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla.—Most people know him as a DJ and event promoter, but DJ Lecz is embarking on a venture that could bring attention to the urban Latino music emitting from the Gulf Coast.
Last weekend, Lecz traveled to South Florida with local artists to film a video for the title track of his album. “El Intro al Inicio” (“The Intro to the Beginning”) is the name of what Lecz is calling his video trailer for his debut album, “El Inicio,” which features a variety of guest artists. Rickyto, Rudo, Samurai, J Mago, Shaiko, Zul2 (Zul Dos) Baby D and Jay el Rebelde are a culturally diverse collaboration Lecz assembled from Alabama, Orlando, Fort Walton Beach, Pensacola, New York and Puerto Rico.
Music and film, he says, have always been his passion. Growing up in the Bronx, Lecz was exposed to producing entertainment. He now wants to go beyond mixing music and promoting events to producing music and he is starting with artists who are closest to him.
The music to the video trailer is equally diverse by design.
“I chose them specifically because each one brought a different style into ‘El Intro,’” Lecz said. “I wanted to create a little friendly competition but be supportive of each other.”
Lecz says he plans to focus on music by Rickyto and J Mago on the remaining tracks of the album with intent to help polish their skills. The album will consist of primarily Spanish language reggaetón and trap music but with a bit of a softer tone than “El Inicio.”
The “El Intro” video will be available on YouTube on October 29, and song on Sound Cloud and Spotify under DJ Lecz. The album is scheduled to launch on iTunes in March 2018 for 99 cents with singles released monthly leading up to its release.
Jay el Rebelde and Rickyto will perform at the Latino Festival in Pensacola on November 5 as regulars to the annual event. The possibility of a group performance from this venture is still being discussed.
