Puente de South Craft Highway cerrado
CONDADO DE MOBILE, Alabama – El puente de South Craft Highway está temporalmente cerrado en la línea de la ciudad entre la ciudad de Prichard y la ciudad de Mobile. El tráfico se está desviando alrededor del cierre usando East Prichard Avenue, South Wilson Ave y Saint Stephens Road.
La construcción incluye reemplazar el puente viejo y agregar un nuevo puente peatonal adyacente al puente de la carretera. Se espera que el proyecto esté completo en mayo del 2022.
Cierre de Detroit Boulevard
CONDADO DE ESCAMBIA, Fla. – A partir del 4 de enero del 2022 a las 7 a.m., Detroit Boulevard estará cerrado al tráfico desde Kingfisher Way hasta Fowler Avenue. Durante este tiempo, los equipos de construcción instalarán una nueva tubería principal y alcantarillado en el vecindario. El tráfico se desviará a Nine Mile Road.
Se espera que este sea un proyecto de dos meses de duración, y la construcción finalizará el 4 de marzo del 2022. Una vez que se complete la construcción, las carreteras estarán despejadas para que pase todo el tráfico. Si son necesarios otros cierres de carreteras, se emitirá otro aviso.
Construcción en la U.S. 90 para reemplazar el puente del río Simpson
Los conductores deben anticipar los cambios de tráfico y el cierre de carriles durante la noche en el puente U.S. 90 sobre el río Simpson en el condado de Santa Rosa. Además, el límite de velocidad se reducirá a 35 mph. Se estima que el proyecto se completará a principios del 2025.

South Craft Highway bridge closed
MOBILE COUNTY, Alabama – South Craft Highway bridge is temporarily closed at the city line between the City of Prichard and the City of Mobile. Traffic is being detoured around the closure using East Prichard Avenue, South Wilson Ave and Saint Stephens Road.
Construction includes replacing the old bridge and adding a new pedestrian bridge adjacent to the road bridge. The project is expected to be complete by May 2022.
Detroit Boulevard closure
ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. – Beginning Jan. 4, 2022 at 7 a.m., Detroit Boulevard will be closed to through traffic from Kingfisher Way to Fowler Avenue. During this time, construction crews will be installing new force main and sewer in the neighborhood. Traffic will be detoured to Nine Mile Road.
This is expected to be a two-month long project, with construction wrapping up by March 4, 2022. Once construction is complete, the roads will be clear for all traffic to pass through. If other roadway closures are necessary, another notice will be issued.
Construction on U.S. 90 to replace the Simpson River bridge
Drivers should anticipate traffic shifts and nighttime lane closures on the U.S. 90 bridge over Simpson River in Santa Rosa County. In addition, the speed limit will be lowered to 35 mph. The project is estimated for completion in early 2025.
All activities are weather-dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to use caution, especially at night, when traveling through a work zone and to watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.
