AFC Mobile se asocia con BELONG
AFC Mobile, en asociación con BELONG, organizará una clínica de fútbol gratuita para 50 niños inmigrantes hispanos edades entre 3 y 14 años en el área del condado de Mobile que forman parte de la organización BELONG y del Departamento de ESL. La sesión correrá a cargo del entrenador Guillermo “Memo” Lumbreras Jr y contará con la asistencia de los jugadores del primer equipo de AFC Mobile, Lucas Ros, Diego Candia y Alejo García. El objetivo de esta asociación es poder brindar a los niños de nuestra comunidad hispana oportunidades para tener éxito en varios aspectos de la vida, incluida la disciplina de los deportes. Foosacklys también se ha sumado a la causa y ha donado 50 tarjetas de regalo para los jóvenes participantes.
BELONG es una organización sin fines de lucro y una comunidad de personas compasivas, voluntarias y donan para ayudar a los niños inmigrantes y sus familias y darles la bienvenida a su nueva vida en los Estados Unidos. BELONG pretende ser la ventanilla para los inmigrantes; y tiene como objetivo proporcionar a los inmigrantes en el sur de Alabama una base sobre la que puedan construir sus futuros. Sus voluntarios brindan tutoría, educación en derechos humanos, salud, y servicios de ESL y GED. BELONG también tiene como objetivo profundizar y ampliar los servicios que ofrecen con el transcurso del tiempo.
El evento será el viernes 17 de Junio del 2022 a las 7:00 p. m. en el Mobile County Soccer Complex 3701 Halls Mills Rd. Mobile, AL y concluirá a las 8:30 pm.

AFC Mobile partners with BELONG
AFC Mobile in partnership with BELONG, will be hosting a free soccer clinic for 50 Hispanic immigrant kids ranging from 3 to 14-year-olds in the Mobile County area that are part of the BELONG organization as well as the ESL Department. The session will be ran by Coach Guillermo “Memo” Lumbreras Jr and will be assisted by AFC Mobile first team players, Lucas Ros, Diego Candia and Alejo Garcia. The goal of this partnership is to provide children in our Hispanic community opportunities to succeed in various aspects of life including the discipline of sports. Foosacklys has also joined the cause and has donated 50 gift cards for the young participants.
BELONG is a non-profit organization and community of compassionate individuals who care, volunteer, and donate to help immigrant children and their families and welcome them to their new life in America. BELONG aims to be the one-stop-shop for immigrants; and aim to provide immigrants in South Alabama with a foundation they can build on. Their volunteers provide tutoring, life skills, health, rights awareness, and ESL and GED services. Belong also aims to deepen and expand the services they offer over time.
The event will be on Friday June 17, 2022 at 7:00pm at the Mobile County Soccer Complex 3701 Halls Mills Rd. Mobile AL and will conclude at 8:30 pm.
