Una familia venezolana emprendedora expande su negocio

PENSACOLA, Fla. – A menos de un año de su apertura el restaurante Mr. Pollo ha logrado posicionarse entre los 100 mejores restaurantes de Estados Unidos según Yelp, y como el único de pollo al carbón en la lista. A mediados de marzo el negocio familiar se expandirá con la apertura de Latin Roots, una tienda internacional pensada en todos aquellos que viven lejos de su tierra natal. La tienda estará ubicada en el local continuo a Mr. Pollo.
Productos latinos, españoles, griegos y alemanes entre muchas otras culturas serán ofrecidos por la familia venezolana.
María Rodríguez gerente general de Mr. Pollo y de la nueva tienda comenta que Mr. Pollo les permitió ver la gran cantidad de latinos que viven en el área.
“Al principio nosotros abrimos sin hacer mucha publicidad, el voz a voz es lo que nos ha permitido crecer,” dijo Rodriguez. “La gente en Pensacola ha sido bastante receptiva y han hecho todo por nosotros, estamos muy agradecidos.”
Rodríguez aconseja a los latinos que quieren emprender en cualquier ámbito tener claro que el miedo es el peor enemigo del éxito.
“Debes tener fe y confianza,” dijo Rodriguez. “Exploten sus talentos, lo peor que puede pasar es que no lo intentes.”
Rodríguez y su equipo de trabajo se están preparando para la apertura de la tienda con una fiesta en donde los clientes podrán degustar sus nuevos productos. La fecha exacta de la inauguración será revelada en sus redes sociales muy pronto, e invitan a toda la comunidad a acompañarlos.
Ambos negocios están ubicados en el 6404 N. 9th Avenue Pensacola y prestan su servicio de lunes a sábados 11 a.m. a 8 p.m., los domingos de 11 a.m a 7 p.m.

PENSACOLA, Fla. – Less than a year after its opening, Mr. Pollo restaurant has managed to position itself among the 100 best restaurants in the United States according to Yelp, and as the only charcoal chicken on the list. In mid-March, the family business will expand with the opening of Latin Roots, an international store keeping all those who live far from their homeland in mind. The store will be located adjacent to Mr. Pollo.
Latin, Spanish, Greek and German products among many other cultures will be offered by the Venezuelan family.
Maria Rodriguez general manager of Mr. Pollo and the new store says that Mr. Pollo allowed them to see the large number of Latinos living in the area.
“At first we opened without doing much publicity, Word of mouth is what has allowed us to grow,” Rodriguez said. “The people in Pensacola have been quite receptive and have done everything for us, we are very grateful.”
Rodriguez advises Latinos who want to venture in any field that fear is the worst enemy of success.
“You must have faith and trust,” Rodriguez said. “Exploit your talents, the worst thing that can happen is that you don’t try.”
Rodriguez and her team are preparing for the opening of the store with a party where customers can taste their new products. The exact date of the inauguration will be revealed on their social networks very soon, and invite the entire community to join them.
Both businesses are located at 6404 N. 9th Avenue Pensacola and serve Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. at 8 p.m., Sundays from 11 a.m. at 7 p.m.
