Tres Vehículos Robados con Llaves Dejadas en el Interior

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla .– La oficina del Sheriff del condado de Okaloosa está investigando varios robos de automóviles esta semana todos involucrados con las llaves dejadas dentro de los vehículos.

Un Chevy Suburban blanco fue tomado el 12 de septiembre de una casa en Solimar Way en Mary Esther. La propietaria dice que las llaves estaban ya sea en el encendido o en el bolso que dejó en el vehículo. El bolso contenía también la licencia de conducir y otros documentos diversos. Ella estima sus pérdidas más de $9,000.

La propietaria de un Chevy Cruz gris vio por última vez su coche en su estacionamiento alrededor de las 9 p.m. del 12 de septiembre. Ella dice que las llaves se quedaron en el vehículo desbloqueado en su casa en Tray Drive. El coche mas tarde fue encontrado abandonado cerca de la intersección de Shirley Drive y la Tilden Street.

El tercer coche robado tenía una llave rota atascada en el encendido. El propietario del Nissan Xterra negro dice que se dio cuenta que se le perdió en la entrada de su casa en Marimba Street cerca de Fort Walton Beach alrededor de las 7 a.m. del 13 de septiembre. Él dice que dos paddleboards edstaban atados en el techo y su ordenador portátil MacBook Pro se había quedado en el interior. Él estima que sus pérdidas son $8.600.

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla.–The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s office is investigating multiple car thefts this week that all involved keys left inside the vehicles.

A white Chevy Suburban was taken on September 12 from a home on Solimar Way in Mary Esther. The owner says the keys were either in the ignition or in her purse that was left in the vehicle. The purse also contained her driver’s license and other miscellaneous papers. She estimates her losses at more than $9000.

The owner of a grey Chevy Cruz last saw her car in her driveway around 9 p.m. on September 12. She says the keys were left in the unlocked vehicle at her home on Tray Drive. The car was later found abandoned near the intersection of Shirley Drive and Tilden Street.

The third stolen car had a broken key stuck in its ignition. The owner of the black Nissan Xterra says he noticed it missing from the driveway of his home on Marimba Street near Fort Walton Beach around 7 a.m. on September 13. He says two paddleboards had been strapped to the roof and his MacBook Pro laptop had been left inside. He estimated his losses at $8600.
