Santa Rosa Animal Services invita a la comunidad a un luau de adopción
MILTON, Fla. – Servicios para Animales del Condado de Santa Rosa (SRCAS) invita a la comunidad a asistir a un evento Luau de adopción en el Refugio de Animales del Condado de Santa Rosa, 4451 Pine Forest Rd. en Milton. El evento es de 10 a. m. a 3 p. m. el sábado 13 de agosto. El Luau incluirá perros amantes a la diversión, adopciones por $5, helados Mister Softee, actividades para niños y más. Los voluntarios de Upper Room Church también ayudarán con el evento.
Los refugios de animales superpoblados son un problema a nivel nacional, solo en el refugio de animales del condado de Santa Rosa hay más de 90 perros y 200 gatos. El propósito del evento es alentar a las familias a adoptar del refugio local con más de 50 perros y 120 gatos disponibles para ir a su hogar para siempre. Aunque ahora no es el mejor momento para que una familia adopte, este evento es la oportunidad perfecta para aprender otras formas de ayudar al refugio. Desde donaciones hasta servicio voluntario para apoyar a los animales más vulnerables de nuestra comunidad pues es un esfuerzo de toda la comunidad.

Santa Rosa Animal Services invites the community to adoption luau
MILTON, Fla. – Santa Rosa County Animal Services (SRCAS) invites the community to attend an Adoption Luau event at the Santa Rosa County Animal Shelter, 4451 Pine Forest Rd. in Milton. The event is 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Sat., Aug. 13. The Luau will include fun-loving dogs, $5 adoptions, Mister Softee ice cream, children’s activities and more. Volunteers with Upper Room Church will also be helping with the event.
Overcrowded animal shelters are a nationwide problem, in Santa Rosa County Animal Shelter’s care alone, there are over 90 dogs and 200 cats. The purpose of the event is to encourage families to adopt from the local shelter, with over 50 dogs and 120 cats available to go to their forever homes. Even if now is not the best time for a family to adopt, this event is the perfect opportunity to learn other ways to help the shelter. From donations to volunteering, supporting our community’s most vulnerable animals is a community-wide effort.
