Respondedores de Mobile reconocidos por “Cultura a la Excelencia”
El personal de EMS del Mobile Fire Rescue Department recibió recientemente el premio “Cultura a la Excelencia” de la Oficina de Servicios Médicos de Emergencia del Departamento de Salud Pública de Alabama.
Este premio no es algo que suceda de la noche a la mañana,” dijo el alcalde de Mobile, Sandy Stimpson en su boletín informativo nocturno. “Es el resultado de años de mejoras en la forma en que nuestro EMS opera sus ambulancias, responde a emergencias y reporta datos críticos al Estado.”
Stimpson agregó que hay muy pocas agencias que reciben este premio del Departamento de Salud Pública, y debido a que las inspecciones involucradas no se anuncian, brinda instantáneamente de cómo están operando nuestros equipos de EMS.
El alcalde informó que los hombres y mujeres del Departamento de Bomberos y Rescate de Mobile responden cada año a más de 35,000 llamadas médicas, los felicitó por su servicio ejemplar a los residentes de Mobile.
Mobile responders recognized for “Culture of Excellence”
The EMS staff at Mobile Fire Rescue Department recently received the “Culture of Excellence” award from the Office of Emergency Medical Services within the Alabama Department of Public Health.
This award isn’t something that happens overnight,” said Mobile’s mayor, Sandy Stimpson in his nightly newsletter. “It is the result of years of improvements in the way our EMS operate their ambulances, respond to emergencies and report critical data to the State.”
Stimpson added that there are very few agencies that receive this award from Department of Public Health, and because the inspections involved are unannounced, it gives a snapshot of how our EMS crews are operating.
The mayor reported that the men and women of the Mobile Fire and Rescue Department respond to more than 35,000 medical calls every year, congratulated them for their exemplary service to the residents of Mobile.
