Recorrido Navideño de Viviendas 2023
DeFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. – Como es tradicional, el Tour de Navidad se realiza el primer sábado de diciembre (2 de diciembre de 2023, de 10 a.m. a 5 p.m.) en DeFuniak Springs. El Tour de Navidad es organizado nuevamente este año por la histórica Iglesia Episcopal St. Agatha’s. Las ganancias beneficiarán al Fondo de Preservación de la iglesia, reservado para reparaciones importantes de las tres estructuras históricas de St. Agatha en Circle Drive. Nuestros patrocinadores son el Consejo de Desarrollo Turístico de South Walton, Forward DeFuniak, Inc. y DeFuniak Landmarks, Inc.
Las casas y negocios seleccionados este año son principalmente entre lo años 1885-1920, la era de la Asamblea Chautauqua de Florida. Representan la preservación histórica, planificada, en progreso o terminada. La estrella del espectáculo podría ser el restaurado Sun Bright Manor, programado para ser un hotel/bed and breakfast. La Iglesia Presbiteriana y Episcopal (además de sus dos casas históricas) son propiedades adicionales que se muestran para su disfrute. Luego de un recorrido, la Biblioteca, el Museo, el Mercado de Muérdago de Navidad y la bodega de vinos Chautauqua son atractivos agregados que los visitantes no deben perderse. También estarán disponibles el Festival de los Árboles (gratis), en el edificio Chautauqua recientemente restaurado, y Reflexiones Navideñas, una exhibición de nueve millones de luces y exhibiciones en el parque que rodea el lago perfectamente redondo.

Christmas Tour of Homes 2023
DeFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. – As is traditional, the Christmas Tour is on the first Saturday in December (December 2, 2023, from 10-5) in DeFuniak Springs. The Christmas Tour is hosted by historic St. Agatha’s Episcopal Church again this year. Proceeds will benefit the church’s Preservation Fund, reserved for major repairs of St. Agatha’s three historic structures on Circle Drive. Our sponsors are The South Walton Tourism Development Council, Forward DeFuniak, Inc., and DeFuniak Landmarks, Inc.
The homes and businesses selected this year are primarily from circa 1885-1920, the era of the Florida Chautauqua Assembly. They represent historic preservation, planned, in progress or completed. The star of the show might be the restored Sun Bright Manor, slated to be a hotel/bed and breakfast. The Presbyterian and the Episcopal Church (plus its two historic homes) are extra properties shown for your enjoyment. After a tour, the Library, the Museum, the Mistletoe Market, and the Chautauqua Winery are added attractions that visitors should not miss. The free Festival of Trees (free), in the recently restored Chautauqua Building, and Christmas Reflections a display of nine million lights and displays in the park surrounding the perfectly round lake will also be available.
