Los espectadores de la ceremonia de los Premios Grammy 2026 presenciaron un momento histórico cuando el álbum completamente en español “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” de Bad Bunny ganó el premio a Álbum del Año. La gala de premios sirvió de plataforma para que los artistas expresaran la necesidad de luchar por la justicia para los inmigrantes y su rechazo a las operaciones del ICE en todo el país.
Varios de los ganadores aprovecharon sus discursos de aceptación para instar a la gente, incluyendo a otros artistas, a alzar la voz contra las tácticas del ICE y a valorar la contribución de los inmigrantes. Muchos de los artistas presentes también lucieron insignias con la frase “ICE OUT,” una expresión usada por Bad Bunny que la audiencia respondió con una ovación de pie.

No estaría aquí [si no fuera por ellos]. Si, soy producto de la valentía, y creo que esas personas merecen ser celebradas. Así que si no somos nada sin los demás.”

Viewers of the 2026 Grammy Awards ceremony witnessed a historic moment when Bad Bunny’s all-Spanish album “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” (I Should Have Taken More Pictures) won Album of the Year. The awards gala served as a platform for artists to express the need to fight for justice for immigrants and their rejection of ICE operations across the country.
Several of the winners used their acceptance speeches to urge people, including other artists, to speak out against ICE tactics and to value the contributions of immigrants. Many of the artists present also wore badges with the phrase “ICE OUT,” a phrase used by Bad Bunny that the audience responded to with a standing ovation.
Bad Bunny won three Grammy Awards: Album of the Year, Best Urban Music Album, and Best Global Music Performance.
“Before thanking God, I’m going to say: ‘ICE Out!’,” the Puerto Rican artist said, then waited for the crowd to settle. “We are not savages. We are not animals. We are not aliens. We are humans, and we are Americans,” he continued. “Hate becomes more powerful with more hate. The only thing more powerful than hate is love. So please, we need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love. We don’t hate them. We love our people. We love our family. And that’s the way to do it. With love. Don’t forget that please. Thank you, God!”
Olivia Dean won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist.
“I want to say that I am here as the granddaughter of an immigrant,” Dean said. “I wouldn’t be here [if it weren’t for them]. Yes, I am a product of bravery, and I think those people deserve to be celebrated. So, yeah, we are nothing without each other.”

“And as grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything but, that ‘nobody is illegal on stolen land.’ And, yeah, it’s really hard to know what to say and what to do right now; and I feel very hopeful in this room; and I feel like we need to keep fighting and speaking up and protesting; and our voices really do matter and that people matter. And [expletive] ICE is all I want to say.”
