La ciudad de Mobile organiza una jornada de resolución de órdenes de arresto por infracciones de tránsito el viernes 7 de noviembre
MOBILE, Ala. — La ciudad de Mobile se une nuevamente a la organización sin fines de lucro Growing Real Alternatives Everywhere (GRAE) para ofrecer una jornada de resolución de órdenes de arresto por infracciones de tránsito el 7 de noviembre.
Organizada por el Departamento Legal de la ciudad de Mobile y el Tribunal Municipal de Mobile, esta será la cuarta jornada gratuita de una serie de jornadas que ofrecen a los residentes una manera sencilla de resolver las órdenes de arresto pendientes por infracciones de tránsito en el tribunal municipal. GRAE ha colaborado con comunidades de todo el país para facilitar eventos similares, incluyendo tres en Mobile que ayudaron a cientos de residentes a resolver órdenes de arresto por infracciones de tránsito menores.
El objetivo de estos eventos es ayudar a cualquier persona con órdenes de arresto activas por infracciones de tránsito en el Tribunal Municipal de Mobile a resolverlas rápidamente en un ambiente relajado y sin intimidaciones, sin temor a ser arrestada. No hay código de vestimenta para los participantes y los jueces y oficiales del tribunal municipal vestirán de civil.
La jornada de resolución de órdenes de arresto del 7 de noviembre se llevará a cabo de 11:00 a 15:00 horas. En el Centro Recreativo Springhill. Niños y familiares de quienes resuelven sus órdenes de arresto por infracciones de tránsito son bienvenidos. Habrá entretenimiento para toda la familia, cuidado de niños, comida y otros recursos comunitarios disponibles.

City of Mobile to host warrant clinic for traffic offenses Friday, Nov. 7
MOBILE, Ala. — The City of Mobile is once again teaming up with the nonprofit Growing Real Alternatives Everywhere (GRAE) to host a Warrant Clinic for traffic-related offenses on Nov. 7.
Led by the City of Mobile Legal Department and the Mobile Municipal Court, this will be the fourth in a series of free clinics offering residents an easy way to address outstanding warrants for traffic violations in municipal court. GRAE has worked with communities around the country to facilitate similar events, including three in Mobile that helped hundreds of Mobilians resolve warrants for minor traffic violations.
The goal of these events is to help anyone with active traffic-related warrants in Mobile Municipal Court resolve them quickly in a relaxed, unintimidating setting — without the fear of arrest. There is no dress code for participants, and the municipal judges and officers of the court will be in plain clothes.
The Nov. 7 Warrant Clinic will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Springhill Recreation Center. Children and family members of those resolving their traffic warrants are welcome to attend. There will be family-friendly entertainment, childcare, food, and other community resources available.
