La Agencia de Reurbanización Comunitaria de Pensacola organiza talleres adicionales para actualizar los planes de reurbanización comunitaria
La Agencia de Reurbanización Comunitaria (CRA) de la ciudad de Pensacola organizará otra ronda de talleres destinados a actualizar sus tres (3) planes de reurbanización comunitaria. Los Planes de Reurbanización Comunitaria para los distritos CRA del Este, Oeste y del Núcleo Urbano se completaron en el 2004, 2007 y el 2010. Los Planes de Reurbanización Comunitaria tienen como objetivo delinear las mejoras futuras de la comunidad y usarse como base para obtener fondos para proyectos específicos. Los límites de cada distrito se pueden ver en el sitio web de la ciudad.
La CRA, junto con su equipo de consultoría, organizó una serie de talleres a fines de mayo. Se han programado tres talleres adicionales para fines de julio y principios de agosto. Los niños siempre son bienvenidos y habrá bocadillos disponibles.
- 23 de julio: Taller vibras y conversación, Edificio de oficinas DeVilliers, 321 DeVilliers Street, de 5:30 p. m. a 7:00 p. m. Se servirán bocadillos ligeros.
- 7 de agosto: Taller café y conversación, Biblioteca Spring Street, 239 Spring Street, de 9:00 a. m. a 10:30 a. m. Se servirá café y pasteles.
- 12 de agosto: Taller pizza y conversación, Lost Pizza, 1200 Barrancas Avenue, de 6:00 a 7:30 p. m. Se servirá pizza.
Además, lo invitamos a que nos cuente sobre sus lugares favoritos, áreas problemáticas y brinde ideas para el futuro utilizando nuestro mapa social interactivo. Vea cuántos me gusta obtiene utilizando las funciones de pulgar hacia arriba y pulgar hacia abajo. El mapa estará disponible hasta el 23 de agosto. También hay una grabación de un taller realizado anteriormente disponible en el sitio web del proyecto para ver en cualquier momento.
El equipo de consultoría regresará la semana del 30 de septiembre para presentar recomendaciones preliminares basadas en los comentarios recibidos. Próximamente habrá más información.

Pensacola Community Redevelopment Agency Holding Additional Workshops to Update Community Redevelopment Plans
The City of Pensacola Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will host another round of workshops aimed at updating its’ three (3) community redevelopment plans. The Community Redevelopment Plans for the Eastside, Westside, and Urban Core CRA Districts were completed in 2004, 2007, and 2010. The Community Redevelopment Plans are meant to outline future community improvement and be used as the basis for obtaining funding for specific projects. The boundaries for each district can be viewed on the City’s website.
The CRA, along with its consulting team, hosted a series of workshops in late May. Three additional workshops have been scheduled for late July and early August. Children are always welcome and snacks will be available.
- Jul 23 – Vibes & Conversation Workshop, DeVilliers Office Building, 321 DeVilliers Street, 5:30-7:00pm. Light bites will be served.
- Aug 7 – Coffee & Conversation Workshop, Spring Street Library, 239 Spring Street, 9:00-10:30am. Coffee & pastries will be served.
- Aug 12 – Pizza & Conversation Workshop, Lost Pizza, 1200 Barrancas Avenue, 6:00-7:30pm. Pizza will be served.
Also, we invite you to tell us about your favorite places, troublesome areas and provide ideas for the future using our social interactive map. A recording of a previously held workshop is also available on the project website for viewing anytime.
The consulting team will return the week of Sep 30 to introduce preliminary recommendations based on the input received. More information to come.
