Hombre de Missouri víctima de aparente ahogamiento
OKALOOSA ISLAND, Fla. – Un visitante de 71 años de Missouri que fue sacado del Golfo de México frente a la isla Okaloosa y fue declarado muerto más tarde en el Centro Médico de Fort Walton Beach el domingo por la noche, víctima de un aparente ahogamiento.
El visitante de Pickering había ido a nadar cerca del Club de Suboficiales de Eglin. Un amigo de Iowa estaba en la playa y dice que lo vio aproximadamente a 75 yardas y luego lo perdió de vista.
Los testigos que vieron al hombre flotando en el agua lo sacaron y comenzaron la reanimación cardiopulmonar hasta que llegó la seguridad de la playa.
Missouri man victim of apparent drowning
OKALOOSA ISLAND, Fla. – A 71-year old visitor from Missouri who was pulled from the Gulf of Mexico off Okaloosa Island was later pronounced dead at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center Sunday evening, the victim of an apparent drowning.
The visitor from Pickering had gone for a swim near Eglin’s NCO Club. A friend from Iowa was on the beach and says he spotted him approximately 75 yards out, then lost sight of him.
Witnesses who spotted the man floating in the water pulled him out and began CPR until Beach Safety arrived.
