PENSACOLA BEACH, Fla.

The private, Gulf-front resort hotel is currently undergoing a substantial renovation of all its guest areas and common spaces.

The hotel is managed by Corsair Hospitality Group (Corsair) based in Pensacola, Fla. The hotel will continue to welcome guests during the transition and retain the same ownership and management team.

“We’ve had a great run with Margaritaville as the first hotel in that brand and will cherish those memories,” says developer Marilyn Woodbury, a Director of American Fidelity Life Insurance Company (AmFi). “Rebranding the hotel to a standalone concept was a strategic decision based on our belief that the next chapter of this property lies in an identity tied directly to its hometown. We are blessed with the most beautiful beaches in the world. This hotel is going all-in on Pensacola Beach’s future.”

AmFi and Corsair say there will be more developments coming on the brand, facilities and offerings and are excited to share in this new journey with local patrons, past customers, and anyone visiting for the first time.

“While we do not have enough restaurant space or parking to host non-hotel guests inside, we love that so many local patrons also come to stay with us at the hotel,” Woodbury said. “We will have an updated restaurant experience, a new pool deck, furnishings, and artwork, with fireplaces and pickleball courts not too far in the future as well.”

“Our beach bar is also being renovated and has its own parking. We intend to ensure our beach bar has consistent opening hours for all patrons and hotel guests and remains a great place to play for all on Pensacola Beach,” she furthered.
