El estadio Blue Wahoos albergará 29 juegos universitarios y de escuelas secundarias
PENSACOLA, FL – El béisbol está de regreso en la bahía este marzo con 29 juegos universitarios y de escuelas secundarias programados en el Blue Wahoos Stadium antes del comienzo de la temporada de ligas menores. Comenzando con el Desafío Blue Wahoos de Studer del 15 al 23 de marzo con equipos universitarios de béisbol de todo el país, los fanáticos tendrán dos semanas completas de acción en el estadio para experimentar el nuevo campo de césped del estadio y la iluminación LED antes del primer juego de Blue Wahoos el viernes 8 de abril del 2022.
El desafío anual Studer’s Blue Wahoos contará con 25 juegos entre ocho programas universitarios diferentes. El escaparate universitario se destacará con un juego entre la Universidad de West Florida y UW-Whitewater el miércoles 23 de marzo a las 6 p.m. y también contará con apariciones de la Universidad de Wisconsin-Platteville, la Universidad de Carroll (WI), el Rhodes College (TN), el Grinnell College (IA), el Birmingham Southern College (AL) y el Center College (KY).
Luego de la acción colegiada, cinco escuelas secundarias locales tendrán la oportunidad de jugar en el estadio Blue Wahoos en una serie de cuatro juegos del 25 al 28 de marzo. Tate High y Navarre High iniciarán la serie de escuelas secundarias el viernes 25 de marzo con un juego a las 6 pm. El día siguiente contará con un encabezado doble cuando la escuela secundaria Navarre juga contra Fort Walton Beach High a las 4 p.m. y Tate contra Fort Walton Beach a las 7 p.m. El último partido de la serie será Escambia High contra Gulf Breeze High el lunes 28 de marzo a las 6:30 p.m.

Blue Wahoos Stadium to host 29 college and high school games
PENSACOLA, FL – Baseball is back by the Bay in March with 29 collegiate and high school games scheduled at Blue Wahoos Stadium leading up to the start of the minor league season. Starting with Studer’s Blue Wahoos Challenge from March 15-23 featuring college baseball teams from across the country, fans will have two full weeks of action at the ballpark to experience the stadium’s new turf field and LED lighting before the first Blue Wahoos game on Friday, April 8.
The annual Studer’s Blue Wahoos Challenge will feature 25 games between eight different college programs. The college showcase will be highlighted by a game between the University of West Florida and UW-Whitewater on Wednesday, March 23 at 6 p.m. and will also feature appearances by the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Carroll University (WI), Rhodes College (TN), Grinnell College (IA), Birmingham Southern College (AL), and Centre College (KY).
Following the collegiate action, five local high schools will have an opportunity to play at Blue Wahoos Stadium in a four-game series March 25 to 28. Tate High and Navarre High will kick off the high school series on Friday, March 25 with a 6 p.m. game. The following day will feature a high school double header with Navarre playing Fort Walton Beach High at 4 p.m. and Tate playing Fort Walton Beach at 7 p.m. The final high school game will pit Escambia High against Gulf Breeze High on Monday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m.
