Una película que presenta la serie se estrenó localmente en noviembre. La producción recibió luz verde para un drama de seis partes que se transmitirá en NBC Peacock en el 2023. Tunstall admite que había muchas opciones sobre la mesa. Fue cortejado por Netflix, HBO Max y BET, pero los rechazó porque solo NBC le dio la opción de filmar en Pensacola.
“Quería que mis actores pudieran levantarse de la cama y venir a trabajar, regresando con sus familias al final del día,” dijo Tunstall. “Esta producción beneficiará al área en su conjunto, al tiempo que arrojará una luz positiva sobre lo que Pensacola tiene para ofrecer.”

Sacred TV Drama Greenlit for Six-Part Series to be Streamed on NBC Peacock
PENSACOLA, Fla. – Elrico Tunstall, the brainchild behind the pulse-pounding drama, “Sacred,” has been working 11 years to make this dream become a reality. Filmed exclusively in Pensacola, the fictional storyline chronicles the lives of the Brooks family, a savvy group of doctors who own and operate a hospital. Their lives are filled with mystery and intrigue, so secrets abound!
A movie introducing the series premiered locally in November. The production was greenlit for a six-part drama to be streamed on NBC Peacock in 2023. Tunstall admits there were many options on the table. He was courted by Netflix, HBO Max and BET but turned them down because only NBC gave him to option to film in Pensacola.
“I wanted my actors to be able to roll out of bed and come to work, returning to their families at the end of the day,” Tunstall said. “This production is going to benefit the area as a whole, while also shining a positive light on what Pensacola has to offer.”
Tunstall’s main goal is to be a motivational force, with hopes “Sacred” will inspire other film and TV productions to explore Pensacola as an option. He also wants to encourage youngsters to set goals and achieve them.
