Día Nacional de Oración con servicios al amanecer y al atardecer en Brookley by the Bay
MOBILE, Ala. – El jueves 1 de mayo, los residentes de Mobile y los visitantes están invitados a celebrar el Día Nacional de Oración con eventos al amanecer y al atardecer en las hermosas costas del oeste de la Bahía de Mobile.
Organizados por la organización del Día Nacional de Oración con el apoyo de la Ciudad de Mobile y el alcalde Sandy Stimpson, estos eventos especiales buscan unir a la comunidad en oración por nuestra ciudad, nación y el mundo. Se llevarán a cabo dos reuniones en la propiedad “Brookley by the Bay,” ubicada en 25 Old Bay Front Drive en Mobile, Alabama, 36615. Ambos eventos del 1 de mayo son gratuitos y abiertos al público.

Rodeado por la belleza natural de la Bahía de Mobile, la reunión de este año ofrece un momento de reflexión, renovación y oración colectiva. Líderes comunitarios, grupos religiosos y personas de todas las confesiones religiosas están invitados a asistir y participar. Tanto las reuniones matutinas como las vespertinas contarán con la presencia de los pastores Joe y Linda Johnson, del Ministerio de la Iglesia Mount Hebron, y Pam Hanes, del Ministerio Pam Hanes.
También habrá presentaciones musicales a cargo del Ministerio Apostólico de Belén, el Coro Comunitario Bishop State, Kenneth Brandon, Katie Braswell, Jóvenes con una Visión y Janiah Todd.
“Al contemplar la Bahía de Mobile, recordamos su nombre original: ‘Bahía del Espíritu Santo’. Es un recordatorio apropiado del poder de la fe y la unidad,” declaró el alcalde Sandy Stimpson. “Los eventos del Día Nacional de Oración de este año serán una oportunidad única para unirnos en oración por el futuro de nuestra ciudad.”
El Día Nacional de Oración, que se celebra anualmente el primer jueves de mayo, es reconocido en todo Estados Unidos y congrega a millones de estadounidenses en oración. Es organizado por el Grupo de Trabajo del Día Nacional de Oración y celebrado anualmente por creyentes de diversas confesiones religiosas en todo el país. National Day of Prayer hosting sunrise, sunset services at Brookley by the Bay
MOBILE, Ala. – On Thursday, May 1, Mobilians and visitors are invited to celebrate the National Day of Prayer during sunrise and sunset events on the beautiful shores of western Mobile Bay.
Hosted by the National Day of Prayer organization with support from the City of Mobile and Mayor Sandy Stimpson, these special events aim to unite the community in prayer for our city, nation, and world. Two gatherings will be held on the “Brookley by the Bay” property located at 25 Old Bay Front Drive in Mobile, AL, 36615. Both events on May 1 are free and open to the public.

Surrounded by the natural beauty of Mobile Bay, this year’s gathering offers a moment of reflection, renewal, and collective prayer. Community leaders, faith groups, and individuals of all faiths are welcome to attend and participate. Both the morning and evening gatherings will feature Pastors Joe and Linda Johnson from Mount Hebron Church Ministries and Pam Hanes of Pam Hanes Ministries.
There will also be musical performances by Apostolic-Bethlehem Ministries, the Bishop State Community Choir, Kenneth Brandon, Katie Braswell, Youth With A Vision, and Janiah Todd.
“Looking out over Mobile Bay, we remember its original name: ‘Bay of the Holy Spirit.’ It’s a fitting reminder of the power of faith and unity,” Mayor Sandy Stimpson said. “This year’s National Day of Prayer events will be a unique opportunity to come together in prayer for the future of our city.”
Held annually on the first Thursday in May, the National Day of Prayer is recognized across the United States, bringing millions of Americans together in prayer. It is organized by the National Day of Prayer Task Force and celebrated by believers of multiple faiths across the country each year.
The events at Brookley by the Bay on Thursday, May 1, are being organized and hosted by the National Day of Prayer with support from the City of Mobile and Mayor Stimpson.
