Cena de Agradecimiento y Bienvenida: 20 de noviembre
Como recientemente hemos tenido muchos latinos mudarse al área, el periódico La Costa Latina está organizando una cena comunitaria de Acción de Gracias para dar la bienvenida a nuestra nueva familia comunitaria el sábado 20 de noviembre, el fin de semana después del Festival Latino. El evento se llevará a cabo en DeViliers Square, 321 N De Villiers St, Pensacola, FL 32501. Hay estacionamiento disponible detrás del edificio y en la calle.
El Día de Acción de Gracias es un dia feriado estadounidense que se celebra el cuarto jueves de cada noviembre. Tiene la intención de celebrar la cosecha y otras bendiciones del año pasado. Se invita a los nuevos residentes y familias a asistir y compartir una cena tradicional de Acción de Gracias: pavo, puré de papas, verduras, pan y postre. Quizás tengamos algunas sorpresas.
Los latinos que han vivido aquí por un tiempo también están invitados a ayudar a dar la bienvenida a los nuevos miembros de la familia de la comunidad. La idea es hacer nuevos amigos y seguir construyendo la unidad que hemos tenido entre todas las nacionalidades.
Todo será gratis. El pavo será cocinado por Joe’s Caribe y las mesas y sillas provistas por Joy Rentals. Sabemos que tenemos muchos residentes nuevos de Centroamérica y Puerto Rico que no conocen a mucha gente. Por favor, no sea tímido. Solo queremos darle la bienvenida.

Community dinner to give thanks and welcome: November 20
As we have recently had many Latinos move into the area, La Costa Latina Newspaper is hosting a community Thanksgiving dinner to welcome our new community family on Saturday, November 20, the weekend after the Latino Festival. The event will be held at DeViliers Square, 321 N De Villiers St, Pensacola, FL 32501. Parking is available behind the building and on the street.
Thanksgiving is an American holiday held on the fourth Thursday each November. It is intended to celebrate the harvest and other blessings of the past year. New residents and families are invited to attend and share a traditional Thanksgiving dinner: turkey, mashed potatoes, veggies, bread and dessert. Maybe we’ll have some surprises.
Latinos that have lived here for a while are also invited to help welcome our new community family members. The idea is to make new friends and continue building the unity we have had among all the nationalities.
Everything will be free. The turkey will be cooked by Joe’s Caribe and tables and tables and chairs provided by joy Rentals. We know we have many new residents from Central America and Puerto Rico that do not know many people. Please don’t be shy. We just want to welcome you.
