Cambios en el programa de pintura gratuita de Waste Services
Los Servicios de Residuos del Condado de Escambia están realizando cambios en el cronograma gratuito del programa de pintura remezclada, lo que permitirá al condado ofrecer una mejor variedad de colores de pintura al público sin costo alguno. A partir del jueves 2 de mayo, Waste Services ofrecerá pintura remezclada gratuita el primer y tercer jueves de cada mes en Perdido Landfill, 13009 Beulah Road.
La pintura está disponible desde las 8 a. m. hasta el mediodía, por orden de llegada hasta que se acabe, La pintura es gratis a cambio de un balde nuevo y limpio de cinco galones y una tapa. Cada vehículo está limitado a un máximo de dos cubos de pintura. Los clientes deben pasar por la casa de báscula antes de ingresar al vertedero.
La pintura de látex se examina dos veces, se vuelve a mezclar y se coloca en baldes nuevos de cinco galones. La pintura es segura tanto para proyectos interiores como exteriores. Hay una variedad de colores disponibles, incluido el blanco cremoso, el azul o el verde.

Changes to waste services free paint program
Escambia County Waste Services is making changes to the free re-blended paint program schedule, which will allow the county to provide a better variety of paint colors to the public at no charge. Beginning Thursday, May 2, Waste Services will offer free re-blended paint on the first and third Thursday of each month at the Perdido Landfill, 13009 Beulah Road.
Paint is available from 8 a.m. to noon, or until the paint is gone, on a first come, first served basis. The paint is free in exchange for a clean, new five-gallon bucket and lid. Each vehicle is limited to a maximum of two buckets of paint. Customers must drive through the scale house prior to entering the landfill.
Latex paint is screened twice, re-blended and put into new five-gallon buckets. The paint is safe for both interior and exterior projects. A variety of colors are available, including creamy white, blue or green.
