Aviso; ¡Mantén tus ojos abiertos! A partir del lunes 22 de enero del 2024, o alrededor de esa fecha, el Departamento de Agricultura y Servicios de Vida Silvestre de los Estados Unidos (USDA – WS) comenzará la distribución de aproximadamente 218,820 cebos en bolsitas recubiertas que contienen la vacuna oral contra la rabia (ORV) RABORAL V-RG® en todo un país. Zona de cebo de 1,599 millas cuadradas en el suroeste de Alabama, dirigida a mapaches y otros animales salvajes.
Estos cebos se distribuirán mediante aviones y helicópteros que vuelan a baja altura en un área de vacunación que incluye la mayor parte de la península costera y partes de las siguientes ciudades: Spanish Fort, Fairhope, Daphne y Foley.

Notice issued for Southwest Alabama
Heads up; keep your eyes peeled! Beginning on, or around Monday, January 22, 2024, the United States Department of Agriculture, Wildlife Services (USDA – WS) will begin the distribution of approximately 218,820 coated sachet baits containing RABORAL V-RG® oral rabies vaccine (ORV) across a 1,599 square-mile bait zone in Southwest Alabama, targeting raccoons and other wildlife.
These baits will be distributed via low-flying airplanes and helicopters throughout a vaccination area that includes most of the coastal peninsula and parts of the following cities: Spanish Fort, Fairhope, Daphne, and Foley.
