HABAGC celebra el servicio y el apoyo a la educación superior
MOBILE, Ala. — La Asociación de Negocios Hispanoamericanos de la Costa del Golfo celebró un hito durante la instalación de nuevos miembros de su junta directiva y la entrega de becas. Las ceremonias se llevaron a cabo en la Cocina del Comisariato en Mobile el 30 de mayo.
La nueva junta directiva está formada por:
Courtney Steel, Presidenta de Comunicaciones (Directora de Relaciones Públicas y Comunicaciones de Bishop State Community College)
Dra. Leida Javier Ferrell – Expresidenta y cofundadora, Gerente de Proyecto de la Cocina del Comisariato Continental

Guillermo Belloso – Vicepresidente

La presidenta del comité de becas, Yohanna Carrio, otorgó becas de $1,000 a estudiantes de Mobile. Este año, siete estudiantes destacados de ascendencia hispana de los condados de Mobile y Baldwin recibieron becas para educación universitaria, secundaria y técnica.
Los beneficiarios de 2024 son:
Felix Raul Torres: 2do año de Mecánica A&P, Aviation College
Braulio Carballo: Ramirez – USA., Ingeniería química
Angela Castaneda: South Balwin Center for Technology
Padre de Karla Altamirano: Bishop State Community College (Enfermería)
Nicole Paez: AA Pathway, Ingeniería científica
Miranda Santiago: USA, Negocios internacionales
Johanna Mondragon: Auburn University, Contabilidad Próxima estudiante de tercer año con un GPA de 3.5
HABAGC celebrates service and supporting advanced education
MOBILE, Ala. — Hispanic American Business Association of the Gulf Coast celebrated a milestone during an installation of new members of their board of directors and scholarship awards. Ceremonies were held at the Commissary Kitchen in Mobile on May 30.
The new board of directors are:

Dr. Leida Javier Ferrell – Past Pres and co founder, Project manager of the Continental Commissary Kitchen

Scholarship committee chair, Yohanna Carrio, awarded $1,000 scholarships to students in Mobile. This year, seven outstanding students of Hispanic heritage in Mobile and Baldwin counties received scholarships for college, secondary and technical education.
