Levin Papantonio ofrecerá educación jurídica gratuita a la comunidad de Pensacola
PENSACOLA, Fla. – Levin Papantonio organizará nuevamente la “People’s Law School” (Escuela de Derecho para la Comunidad), una serie de sesiones educativas gratuitas diseñadas para brindar a los residentes del área de Pensacola información práctica sobre sus derechos y las cuestiones legales que pueden surgir en la vida cotidiana.
Durante más de 16 años, la People’s Law School ha reunido a abogados y otros profesionales con miembros de la comunidad para hacer que el derecho sea más comprensible y accesible.
La serie de 2026 se llevará a cabo durante tres lunes por la noche —14, 21 y 28 de septiembre—, de 6:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m., en el Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Resource Center, ubicado en el 913 S. I Street, Pensacola. La asistencia es gratuita y abierta al público.
Cada sesión de la People’s Law School incluirá presentaciones centradas en temas legales relevantes para las personas y familias del noroeste de Florida.
El programa actual para 2026 incluye:
Lunes 14 de septiembre
- Lesiones personales y accidentes de vehículos de motor
- Compensación para trabajadores y Seguridad Social
Lunes 21 de septiembre
- Planificación patrimonial y procesos sucesorios (probate)
- Aspectos legales de los ciberdelitos
Lunes 28 de septiembre
- Nombre, imagen y semejanza (NIL, por sus siglas en inglés)
- Adicción a las redes sociales
El programa está sujeto a cambios; se anunciará información adicional a medida que se acerque la fecha del evento.
No se requieren conocimientos previos de derecho para participar. Las presentaciones tienen un enfoque educativo y accesible, brindando a los asistentes la oportunidad de aprender sobre cuestiones legales antes de tener que enfrentarlas personalmente.
Los participantes que asistan a las tres sesiones recibirán un Certificado de Finalización de la People’s Law School que reconoce su participación en la serie completa.

Levin Papantonio to hold law free legal education to Pensacola Community
PENSACOLA, Fla. – Levin Papantonio will once again host People’s Law School, a free community legal education series designed to give Pensacola-area residents practical information about their rights and the legal issues they may encounter in everyday life.
For more than 16 years, People’s Law School has brought attorneys and other professionals together with members of the community to make the law easier to understand and more accessible.
The 2026 series will be held on three Monday evenings, September 14, 21 and 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Resource Center, 913 S. I Street in Pensacola. Attendance is free and open to the public.
Each People’s Law School class will feature presentations focused on legal topics relevant to individuals and families in Northwest Florida.

No legal background is necessary to participate. The presentations are intended to be educational and approachable, giving attendees an opportunity to learn about legal issues before they find themselves facing them firsthand.
Participants who attend all three evenings will receive a People’s Law School Certificate of Completion recognizing their participation in the full series.
