Airbus  Comprométese a Más Trabajos en Mobile
     Los comisionados del Condado de Mobile anunciaron en Julio,  nuevos trabajos para el área.  El anuncio  fué hecho en el Air Show de Farnborough en Inglaterra.
     Airbus añadirá hasta 90 plazas en su centro de ingenieria en Brookley Field, haciendo 240 el número total de empleados alli.  "Es otro capítulo en nuestra gran relación con Airbus," dijo el Comisionado del Condado de Mobile, Mike Dean, quien está atendiendo el show.
     Dean también expresó optimismo acerca de las oportunidades de Mobile de  ganar el contrato de recargar combustible después de reunirse hoy con altos oficiales de Airbus y EADS. "Todos los involucrados con el proyecto están entusiamados y confiados," dijo Dean.
     Dean se reunió con el CEO de Airbus Tom Enders y Allan McArtor, chairman de American Airbus Inc.  Oficiales de Airbus discutieron detalles de la reciente oferta de la firma y estrategias para ganar la competencia.
     Dean también se reunió con ST Aerospace Presidente Chang Chow Teck.  La compañia es una de las más grandes empleadoras con más de 1,600 trabajadores.
     "Trabajaremos con ST para hacer crecer su presencia en Mobile aún más," dijo Dean.  "Ellos han tenido un importante papel durante 20 años."

Airbus Commits to More Jobs in Mobile
     Mobile County Commissioners announced new jobs for the area in July. The announcement came at the Farnborough Air Show in England.
     Airbus will add up to 90 positions at its engineering center at Brookley Field, bringing the total number of employees there to 240. "It's another chapter in our great relationship with Airbus," said Mobile County Commissioner Mike Dean, who is attending the air show. 
     Dean also expressed optimism over Mobile's chances to win the Air Force refueling contract after meeting today with top Airbus and EADS officials. "Everyone involved with the project is enthused and confident," said Dean.
     Dean met with Airbus CEO Tom Enders and Allan McArtor, chairman of Americas Airbus Inc. Airbus officials discussed details of the firm's recent bid and strategies to win the competition.
     Dean also met with ST Aerospace President Chang Cheow Teck. The company is one of Mobile's largest employers with almost 1,600 workers.
     "We will work with ST to grow their presence in Mobile even more," said Dean. "They’ve had an important role in our economy now for 20 years."
